Hanover & District Hospital Accredited with Exemplary Standing for the Third Consecutive Time by Accreditation Canada

Hanover & District Hospital is pleased to announce that the hospital has been awarded “Accredited with Exemplary Standing” by Accreditation Canada after participating in the Accreditation Canada survey on November 15-18, 2021.
This award was confirmed on January 10, 2022 and is the highest level awarded by Accreditation Canada. This is the third consecutive time Hanover & District Hospital has achieved this award, also receiving it in 2013 and 2017 surveys.
Accreditation Canada’s Qmentum accreditation program helps hospitals to meet global standards, putting mechanisms in place that lead to safe and effective care. The process provides feedback from peer reviewers and demonstrates to patients and stakeholders that standards are met. Areas of excellence as well as areas for improvement are identified and reported.
