Visiting Hours

Visiting hours on all units are from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

• Patients may have two (2) visitors at a time. Exceptions may be made on patient need.

• In our Emergency Department each person may be accompanied by one (1) person.

• One (1) adult may escort a patient for scheduled appointments, tests, outpatient procedures or treatments.

Special visiting arrangements can be made for pediatric patients, birthing families, patients receiving palliative care, or patients in the Intensive Care Unit.

Patient Inquiries

The telephone number for the hospital is (519) 364-2340. Information about your health is confidential, so please designate one person to report your progress to family members and friends. Let us know the name and telephone number of the person to whom we can provide information.

On admission, the nurse will provide you with a contact number attached to a card. When you call in for patient information in regards to your family members’ condition you will be asked to provide this contact number.

Cafeteria

The Cafeteria is located on the Main Floor of the hospital.

Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Services:

• Breakfast Items available at 9:00 a.m.
• Lunch Items available from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Vending Machines available 24 hours

Parking

Parking is provided on the hospital site for a nominal fee of $3.00 per vehicle. Subsidized parking cards for frequent patients or visitors are available upon request.

Monthly and annual parking passes can be purchased at the hospital switchboard.

Phones

Pay phones are located at the Emergency entrance and beside the Cafeteria.

Cellular phones, mobile phones and transmitting devices are prohibited in designated patient care areas and the Emergency Room waiting area as their signals can interfere with the operations of sensitive medical equipment used for patient care.

Gift Shop

Location: Main Floor

Hours of Operation: varies

Volunteers manage the Gift Shop which serves the needs of the patients, staff and daily visitors. Through the operation of the Gift Shop and other public fundraising events, the Auxiliary has supported the hospital with many thousands of dollars. This money is used to purchase much needed hospital equipment.

Washrooms

Public washrooms are located in the main lobby (wheelchair accessible), in the Emergency Department, and on the second floor behind the elevators.
