Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
"Quality" is one of Hanover and District Hospital's core beliefs. It is well integrated throughout the organization."Quality" is incorporated within Hanover and District Hospital's Strategic Directions - To achieve organizational excellence in quality care and patient safety. As well, "Quality" is the framework to the hospital's Mission Statement – To be a collaborative and innovative team committed to providing quality health programs and services to our community.
The implementation of the Excellent Care for All Act (ECFAA) in June 2010, will help support the hospital to further improve the quality and safe care we provide to our community. The Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) is only one of the tools that we are using to help us document and review our current performance in a variety of areas. With this plan, we will be able to clearly see our targeted areas for improvement and chart our progress.
How to read the Quality Improvement Plan:
Our QIP is made up of two parts:
- The 2012-13 QIP document provides a brief overview of our quality improvement plan, highlighting our hospital's top priorities for the year. To view this document click here.
- The spreadsheet includes our improvement targets and initiatives. To view this document click here.
