How to make a donation

The Hanover and District Hospital Foundation relies on many supporters to help provide quality healthcare and first class facilities for the patients of Hanover and the surrounding area. For Cash Donations:

- By mail: Please print and fill out the donation form (PDF) found under the Reports/Downloads area and send it with your donation to: Hanover and District Hospital Foundation, 90 7th Avenue, Hanover ON, N4N 1N1.
- By phone: Contact the Foundation office at (519) 364-2341 x 203. Visa and MasterCard credit cards are accepted.
- In person: Visit the Foundation Office at the main hospital entrance, Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm.
- Online: Visit the “Online Donation” section of this website.
- By fax: - To make a donation by fax, please print and fill out the donation form (PDF).

Cash donations can be arranged as a one-time payment or at regular set intervals by prepaid cheque or credit card.

In Kind Donations:

All non-cash donations are also graciously accepted by the Foundation, for specific use or for auction at the Foundation’s bi-annual Dinner and Dream Auction. Tax receipts are issued for the fair market value of the item.

In Memoriam Donations:

A meaningful way to express sympathy in memory of a family member or friend is to donate to the Foundation in their honour. A card will be sent to the bereaved family to inform them of the donation, and you will receive a tax receipt and thank you.

Celebration Donations:

A truly perfect gift is one that benefits the entire community. To honour a loved one or pay tribute to Hospital staff members, a donation can be made to the Foundation. In return, the donor will receive a tax receipt and thank you and a card will be sent to the individual being honoured. In addition, the Foundation will accept donations on your behalf in lieu of gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, and more.

Corporate Matching Donations / Community Special Events

Businesses, organizations and service groups can give back to their community too! Hosting a special event or having your company match employee donations is a great way to get involved and to support the Hospital.
